  13. In Cable Vision of Carrboro, the "Basic" channels are unscrambled, so you
  14. can hook you VCR between the wall outlet & the descrambler to record channels
  15. 2 thru 12 (I think) even while viewing channels on TV via the scrambler.

  17. The downside, of course, is that you can't record channels above 12 w/out
  18. redoing the cables.
