  13. Our fireplace chimneys appear to have many decades of accumulated soot
  14. lining them, so it's probably a wise idea to have them all cleaned.

  16. I prefer to intentionally avoid patronizing companies like Austin Topper,
  17. because of their obnoxious, high-pressure, and dishonest telephone sales
  18. techniques.  (Though they haven't called me this year.  Maybe they've put
  19. me on their "don't call" list.  Or maybe they've gone out of business.)

  21. Anyway, if you've had your chimney(s) cleaned by someone you'd recommend,
  22. I'd appreciate hearing.  TIA.
