- Our fireplace chimneys appear to have many decades of accumulated soot
- lining them, so it's probably a wise idea to have them all cleaned.

- I prefer to intentionally avoid patronizing companies like Austin Topper,
- because of their obnoxious, high-pressure, and dishonest telephone sales
- techniques. (Though they haven't called me this year. Maybe they've put
- me on their "don't call" list. Or maybe they've gone out of business.)
