  11. I am a student at McMaster in Hamilton and also have a phone line at my
  12. parent's home (and my own off-and-on-home) in Thornhill.  I have an
  13. answering machine at this number and call from Hamilton to Thornhill to
  14. remotely receive messages which are often from people who don't know
  15. my current Hamilton number or from companies looking at my resume, etc...
  16.  
  17. I get REALLY annoyed when I am wasting time and money listening long distance
  18. to stupid computerized messages from equally stupid companies record on
  19. my answering machine!  They drive me crazy!  I have received so many from
  20. so many different companies.  Some want to clean my carpets!  Some want
  21. to offer me an income of $10,000 a month without any work or experience.

  23. I would love to know what I can do to help stop this incredibly annoying
  24. practice!  I don't mind receiving all the junk mail that I do.  But I
  25. HATE these stupid calls!
