- I am a student at McMaster in Hamilton and also have a phone line at my
- parent's home (and my own off-and-on-home) in Thornhill. I have an
- answering machine at this number and call from Hamilton to Thornhill to
- remotely receive messages which are often from people who don't know
- my current Hamilton number or from companies looking at my resume, etc...
-
- I get REALLY annoyed when I am wasting time and money listening long distance
- to stupid computerized messages from equally stupid companies record on
- my answering machine! They drive me crazy! I have received so many from
- so many different companies. Some want to clean my carpets! Some want
- to offer me an income of $10,000 a month without any work or experience.
-
- I would love to know what I can do to help stop this incredibly annoying
- practice! I don't mind receiving all the junk mail that I do. But I
- HATE these stupid calls!
