Ummm... Excuse me, but this is a little sexist. You poor stupid women,
just can't learn how to use weapons, so we are going to protect you
from yourselves and send you out to meet armed assailants with knives
and guns with such tactical wonders as car keys, pencils and credit cards.

While the rapist has a knife or a gun. This reminds me of one of those
silly slasher movies where the person goes outside with the car keys
and a flashilight to face a murderer with an ax.

Bull shit. In 97% of the cases where a firearm is used as defense, there
is no rape or injury to the victim. Knives and credit cards are taken
away because you have to get close to use them. A firearm can be used
at several feet - and in most assaults the victim is aware there is a
problem before physical contact. In many cases they are aware of being
stalked and are seeking a haven at the point of confrontation.

I suggest you buy a handbag, go to the range, and practice putting a loaded
and ready to go semi-automatic in it (with the safety on). Practice pulling
it out, and hitting a target at six feet. You'll be surprised how fast you'll
get.
