- Note that said officer doesn't follow his advice - he carries a gun for
- self-defense.
-
- Physical methods are nice, but bad guys train too. They're also
- faster and stronger.

-
- Marker die? You mean the stuff that tells the criminal "You've been
- marked, but the only person who knows what that mark MEANS is standing
- right in front of you." Note the "marker" that police use...

-
- Yes, one can carry a weapon stupidly, as police do, but one doesn't
- have to. Moreover, even a weapon carried stupidly can be made
- available in many circumstances. (It is common for the victim to
- become aware of an imminent attack, yet not have any useful options,
- such as preparing a weapon, during the time between the warning and
- the actual attack.)

-
- I know several violent people. While they might be the most likely
- people to attack me, our acquaintance doesn't mean that they'll catch
- me unaware. In fact, our acquaintance puts me on guard BECAUSE I know
- about them.
-
- >( IF I AM WRONG TELL ME WHERE I CAN READ ABOUT THE CORRECT STATS. )
-
- You don't need stats, you need to be able to think about what you
- "know".
-

-
- Which suggests that concealed weapons permit systems are a waste of
- time. They affect the wrong people....

- The thugs I know happen to be martial artists too, so it is realistic.

- She also learned how worthless her kicks and punches and were. Great
