- Subject: Animal Ethics?
- Lines: 28
-
- I have heard a great deal of talk about ethics and animal treatment. I
- agree that no animal should be tortured. That I WILL take for granted.
- However, why is it unethical to hunt? I will agree that standing back
- fro 300 yards with a dear rifle is not cunning or sporty, but is it
- unethical? If an animal is killed only for a trophy and the body is
- left, then that defies the many peoples ethics. In addition, killing an
- endangered species may be considered wrong by others. But deer, turkey,
- fowl, etc. are usually consumed and are hardly considered endangered.
-
- I welcome dicussion in order to understand others' views on the issue.
