- Please don't lump all environmental organizations together. Greenpeace
- does not condone violent confrontations, but passive resistance
- (albeit with lots of publicity).

- Also, you seem to be misinformed. Greenpeace was accused of ramming a
- Japanese vessel carrying plutonium as it was getting shipped out of
- the French waters. It was NOT a fishing boat. Greenpeace has denied
- this, alleging it was the Japanese vessel that rammed them. Judging
- from Greenpeace's nonviolent tactics, I tend to believe them. Also, I
- think Greenpeace would've admitted to ramming the Japanese vessel, had
- it done so. It would not have denied it in that way.

- The environmental organization that is known for ramming fishing
- vessels on purpose is the Sea Shepherd, whose founder broke off from
- Greenpeace because it wasn't radical enough.
