- Whereas, if your friend had gone on to point out that the magic value
- may be large enough as to render the problem moot on account of the
- fact that all the red lights will be blue-shifted into green anyway,
- he would have surpassed `pedantic' and gone on to `severely in need of
- a skull waxing' -- a stage frequently attained by some of my more
- inbred relatives, like my father for instance (he is also my mother --
- don't ask) -- except he's terribly unlikely to make an observation of
- this nature on account of the fact that he's a brainless pretzelhead
- with the common sense of Bush administration cabinet official, and he
- hasn't made a clever observation since the day after Lee Oswald was
- shot, when he remarked that the Big Kahuna is obviously not dead but
- merely gone into hiding after knocking up Eva Gardner -- probably
- smoking pot in Switzerland with the `real' Lee Oswald, whooping it up
- like a wild man, and doing donuts in front of the American embassy in
- a rented Land Rover in celebration of his liberation from that shrew
- he mistakenly married to pay off a gambling debt.
