  10. Due to the questionable performance of the Scorched Earth Party at
  11. the polls last November third, I am rethinking my political affliation.
  12. I am considering forming the Truth and Beauty Party
  13.  
  14. Our platform:

  16. 1. I, presidential candidate of the Truth and Beauty Party, do swear to
  17. be unflappably affable in the face of overwhelming harshness.
  18.  
  19. 2. I promise to be nice in all ways, whether dealing with the nubheads
  20. in congress, or the thick-skulls amongst the american people.
  21.  
  22. 3. I will not have anyone killed, unless they really, really deserve it,
  23. and lots of people want me to.
  24.  
  25. 4. Every month, I will give a really reassuring speech.
  26.  
  27. 5. I will use the office of the presidency to get laid as much as humanly
  28. possible.
