  40. That sounds like a joke I played on a friend of mine once.
  41. She's very religous and has always been razzing me about the
  42. "irreverent" nature of the metal music I listen to.
  43. Really got upset when she saw a "Judas Priest" tape I had with me.
  44. Anyway our church youth g So,I asked her is I could bring along a few of my tap
  45. tapes, and she asked what was on them. I insisted that she would like them,
  46. they were recordings of a band called "Testament".  She approved the tapes
  47. until she found out about such songs as "Curse of the Legions of Death"
  48. and "Apocalyptic City".  Pretty good joke though.

  50. Even funnier, back in high school, after a bad relationsin romance.
  51. (even sounded a little like a character from Dr. Strangelove now that
  52. I think about it, although I hadn't seen that film at that time).
  53. I even went as far as to explain to people that romance depicted in
  54. the media (music, films, TV, books) were in fact a part of this
  55. "Communist conspircy to infilitrate our society".  I would provide
  56. detailed analysis of the TV shows and movies in this manner.
  57. Heck, I even explained that the worst offenders were the producers
  58. the music of Belinda Carlisle was the "utlimate threat to our
  59. way of life.".

  61. The scary thing about this is that some people really beleived what
  62. I was saying!!
