  19. That explains a sign I saw today.  On a simple rectangle
  20. of brown cardboard, hand-lettered and stapled to a simple
  21. picket planted in the dirt across the street from the
  22. Circle-K, where lots of political placards have been for
  23. too long a while, was the single word, "NOT".

  26. legitimate sign, but here it was alone, and made the
  27. most sense.
