  25. minority of people (38% of the 55% of eligible citizens who voted) failed to
  26. retain an unprincipled liar who sold out to the hypernationalist religious-
  27. fanatic fringe of his party in a feeble effort to retain power.
  28.     But I guess we'll just have to get used to whining alternating with
  29. the verbal equivalent of vitriol-throwing from the far right for the next
  30. four years.
