  25. I was pressed for time and did not have time to elaborate.  I should,
  26. however, have inserted MOST before "abortions".  Mea culpa.

  34. Because the idea of a 5-week limit is totally untested.  On the other
  35. hand, LOTS of countries have a 12-week limit [again with exceptions
  36. similar to the ones I would grant after week 5] and that seems to
  37. have worked quite well.  The US is definitely in the minority in allowing
  38. abortion for any reason up to the 24th week.
