- Hi all!
-
- I saw a post the other day (which has now dissappeared from my reader)
- which said that there is a DOD flight of Discovery scheduled for launch
- Nov 19 1992. Through incredible luck, I am going to be in the Orlando
- area at that time, and I would like to see this launch. I have some
- questions, though, and if anyone out there could post or e-mail me the
- answers, I would be most grateful.
-
- 1. Can anyone confirm this date and tell me what time of day the launch
- is scheduled (or point me in the direction of this info)?
- 2. Will the fact that it's a DOD launch be a problem?
- 3. How do I go about seeing the launch? ie, how early should I show
- up, where do I go for the best view (or is there any choice in the matter),
- who do I bribe :> etc.
-
- I apologize if these are dumb or often asked questions, but I've just
- discovered this newsgroup, and couldn't find a FAQ or anything. Any
- replies will be appreciated... needless to say, I'm all a-tingle at
- the chance to the the shuttle go up!
