  15. Hello everyone.
  16.     I am involved in making an electronic measuring cup for use with foods.
  17. Therefore, it needs to be food safe.  I am aware of some food safe epoxies and
  18. Teflon coatings.  However, it is my understanding that these products are not
  19. approved for contact with food "straight from the can" but that they need to be
  20. approved on a case by case basis.
  21.     If anyone has any information about the process involved in getting a
  22. piece of equipment approved for contact with food, or if anyone knows of 
  23. possible sources for food safe coatings for metal cylinders, please let me
  24. know.
