- Hello everyone.
- I am involved in making an electronic measuring cup for use with foods.
- Therefore, it needs to be food safe. I am aware of some food safe epoxies and
- Teflon coatings. However, it is my understanding that these products are not
- approved for contact with food "straight from the can" but that they need to be
- approved on a case by case basis.
- If anyone has any information about the process involved in getting a
- piece of equipment approved for contact with food, or if anyone knows of
- possible sources for food safe coatings for metal cylinders, please let me
- know.
- Thanks
