- I always kind of wondered if those Globe-Trotting Diplomats used any kind of
- medication (or light treatments of some sort, or whatever...) to enable them to
- think & function & conduct International Diplomacy &c. on those grueling
- multi-national, multi-week, multi-timezone megatrips. If so, what sort of meds
- and/or physical treatments would they use? If not, how do they do it?
-
- I mean, I always follow all the usual advice about avoiding dehydration &
- avoiding caffeine & alcohol <& avoiding airline food, after acquiring food
- poisoning from Northwest Airline in 1988; yuk!>. Even so, I'm still sort of
- dopey for a day or 2 after crossing even just 2 or 3 timezones. 5 or 8
- timezones have made me a zombie for days. I can't believe those 60+, 70+, or
- more(!) year-old heads-of-state who seem to do SOOO much better than that!
-
- Is Halcion (c.f. Geo. Bush & the Japan "flu" debacle) their "secret weapon"?
