- In fact this movie was one of many Huston made FOR the military, in
- this case as a sort of training film on how to treat post-battle
- mental illnesses. If I remember correctly, it was not released
- by the DoD for at least 25 years after WWII. Released to the general
- public, that is: the DoD knew full well how many battle fatigue
- cases there were but kept the problem hidden from view.
