- thankyou all to everyone who replied to my original post: I should have posed
- the query BEFORE I started to teach the course! Most replies said that the
- teaching of statistics to beginners was always difficult and that the change of
- emphasis away from traditional lectures to a more experimental presentation
- helped students see the relevance of the material. If I ever am called upon to
- teach the course again, I shall try this approach. Thanks again,
