  17. Hensa/unix, the IUSC funded electronic software archive, has now
  18. made available the statlib software and data from CMU. This
  19. archive contains a number of useful collections including
  20.  
  21.   * Selected Applied Statistics algorithms,
  22.   * S functions and related software,
  23.   * Minitab macros,
  24.   * Multivarite Analysis and Clustering software,
  25.   * Various datasets,
  26.   * Xgobi data visualization software.
  27.  
  28. In all over 4000 files are available. Files may be obtained via
  29.  
  30.   * Electronic mail,
  31.   * Interactively over JANET or via Telnet,
  32.   * File transfer via  DARPA  ftp and Blue Book (ni-ftp),
  33.   * On disc or cartridge tape.
  34.  
  35. The service is free with the exception of discs and tapes for which 
  36. a standard charge applies.
