- If I seemed to be whining, I apologize profusely. I consider
- myself very lucky because I survived the system, with my goals and dreams
- intact. I've had many friend, however, who were not as lucky. For them,
- let me make the point, students should be able to realize their full
- potential with the full assistance and support of the educational system,
- rather than having to fight it tooth-and-nail all the way. The word
- "graduate" should sound a lot less like "battle-worn veteran."
