- JN>I'm in the process of producing high quality fractal prints/posters using
- JN>Fractint v17.2. To maintain resolution for large posters, I'd like to exceed
- JN>the maximum resolution of 2048x2048 in Disk/RAM Mode.
- JN>Can this be done by a simple tweaking of the source code, or is it a much more
- JN>involved programming job to do this?
-
- For the current versions of Fractint (and Winfract), it would be a massive
- job. Lots of equivalenced arrays all squashed together into a single
- 64K segment space.
-
- Xfract (and possibly the OS/2 2.x-specific version of PMfract) might well
- be a different story.
