  12.     I am currently looking for a summer internship in the area of
  13. automatic controls.  Thought people might have suggestions of companies
  14. to contact.  I am especially interested in electronic controls for
  15. drivetrains (engines, transmissions, etc.).  By the summer, I will
  16. have taken more advanced coursework in controls (a 400-level class)
  17. and will have experience in engine controls through my work with the
  18. Hybrid Electric Vehicle Challenge, where I am currently integrating
  19. an electronic fuel injection system, digital spark ignition system,
  20. and extensive computerized engine -starting, -running, and -stopping
  21. algorithms.  I am currently a junior with excellent grades, and will
  22. have 88 credits in Mechanical Engineering at the end of the spring
  23. semester.
