- Graham,
-
- I just took photos for a presentation (my 4 ways of printing color
- postscript died on cue - Murphy Rules) and used the following
- settings:
-
- 1) 100 Speed Ektachrome film (35 mm)
- 2) Standard SLR w/ telephoto lens
- 3) Tripod
- 4) 'Trigger Bulb'
- 5) Clean monitor screen
-
- Set up as far away from the screen as you can and zoom in using the
- lens (to minimize the screen's curvature and its effect on the
- resulting slide). Set the thing to 1 second, F11 which provided
- enough light for the camera in the room (when darkened). Darken
- the room and re-verify that the camera is still happy and then
- trigger using the bulb. Focusing with our setup was a little
- touchy so take care!
-
- Also, I set the background to white (the background on the illustration
- was white also...
