- What I have been thinking about was discussed here earlier, I think.
- I want to get one of the amps that modulate baseband audio/video and or
- remodulate Chan.3/4 to a UHF channel. Then send these UHF signals
- throughout my home with COAX. Also I would like to connect an Ant.
- to the COAX with a trap for the new UHF channels I've created. I can
- add amps and distribution equipment but it sounds to me like the UHF
- channels might not work well for long distances of COAX.? Is that
- what your saying or will that work but it is more effecient to use VHF
- type frequencies for the cable cos?
-
-
- I may have been a little vague, but the basic idea is still there....
- Please reread the paragraph and note the word "wide". ;-)
-
- You can certainly distribute UHF around your house via coaxial cable
- providing you are careful in your design and selection of components.
-
- VHF is quite a bit easier to work with though, and I'd suggest that
- you look there first for your solution.
-
- Actually, this sounds like a fun project. It's certainly well beyond
- my abilities and budget, but sounds like fun anyhow.
-
- BTW, if some one has more inputs on those modulators/re-modulators
- I'd like to hear them.
-
- thanks in advance.
