- Hugh,
-
- I had the same problem. I had just purchased and Emerson IBM compatible
- and couldn't find any information in the manual - so - I called the tech.
- support number and here's what they told me:
-
- Serial 9-pin connector for Emerson:
-
- PIN No. Function
- ^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^
- 1 Data Carrier Detect
- 2 Receive Data
- 3 Transmit Data
- 4 Data Terminal Ready
- 5 Ground
- 6 Data Set Ready
- 7 Ready To Send
- 8 Clear To Send
- 9 Ring Indicator
-
- Hope this is correct and helps you out. I haven't made up my cables yet,
- but this is what the tech support group gave me.
-
- Looking forward to see if anyone else has the same pinout.
