- You didn't specify whether you wanted to design digital (software)
- or analog (hardware) filters, but if you meant digital...

- I have used the book "C Language Algorithms for Digital Signal
- Processing"; Embree et al, Prentice Hall. There is a disk with
- all the source included right in the book. It worked well for me.
- Not exactly public domain, but reasonably priced, all things
- considered.
