- There are two paragraphs (as of 1989, gotta get a new copy) 15.233 and
- 15.235.
-
- 15.233 is restricted to cordless phones, with the 10 channels, each
- a maximum of 20 kHz, and 10,000 uV/m at 3 meters. (In both the 46 and
- 49 MHz channels.)
-
- 15.235 is for other things. Specifically excluding cordless phones.
- The band is 49.82 to 49.9 MHz, field strength is 10,000 uV/M at 3 m.
-
- There are some specific authorizations for home built equipment in 15.235.
- Like total project power consumption of 100 mW (at the power terminals)
- and an antenna of 1 meter or less. Sounds good, but you can only
- build up to 5 units and not market them. (per 15.23)
