- I need some help here.
- I have a small light I wish to use that is rated at 12V and
- much greater than 500 mW.
-
- Can I get away with powering it be a 18V line at 500 mW?
- Or could this possibly damage it from overheating or even
- blow it?
-
-
- If I can't hook it directly to the 18V line, can I use resistor
- before the leads going to the light to reduce the voltage?
- If so, what would the approximate value the resistors?
-
- Thanks much.
