  25. As is the US when it subsidizes tobacco.    The point here
  26. is that both sides ought to be negotiating to reduce their
  27. subsidies.   For the US to "punish" France for its subsidies,
  28. while maintaining its own, can only lead to resentment.

  30. "I'll hit you till you stop doing that" is not the same as
  31. "Let's both stop doing that".
