  15.   The October 31 issue of New Scientist has an interesting
  16.   article by Robert Chote on why current econometric models
  17.   have such poor predictive value.   Although the article cites
  18.   examples from the UK (New Scientist is a British magazine)
  19.   the data and conclusions have interesting implications
  20.   for any attempts to predict economic behavior in modern
  21.   economies.
