- The October 31 issue of New Scientist has an interesting
- article by Robert Chote on why current econometric models
- have such poor predictive value. Although the article cites
- examples from the UK (New Scientist is a British magazine)
- the data and conclusions have interesting implications
- for any attempts to predict economic behavior in modern
- economies.
