  23.     Actually, according to the AP news service, the Libertairans
  24. (nationwide) got a little over 250,000 million votes. Aproximately 100M
  25. votes were cast which would make the number around 1/4%.

  27.     Of course, your numbers might only be referring to California
  28. votes case, in which case you should revise your Perot number down a
  29. bit to avoid comparing apples to oranges. [I doubt that there were even
  30. a total of 14M votes cast in CA.]

  32.     Personally, I suspect that the number would have been a lot
  33. higher if Perot did not run. [like more than a million]

  35.     Then again, since exit polls showed that Perot took four votes
  36. from Bush for every one he took from Clinton, Bush would have been
  37. President again. Maybe that is what he wanted to do.
