- Actually, according to the AP news service, the Libertairans
- (nationwide) got a little over 250,000 million votes. Aproximately 100M
- votes were cast which would make the number around 1/4%.

- Of course, your numbers might only be referring to California
- votes case, in which case you should revise your Perot number down a
- bit to avoid comparing apples to oranges. [I doubt that there were even
- a total of 14M votes cast in CA.]

- higher if Perot did not run. [like more than a million]

- Then again, since exit polls showed that Perot took four votes
- from Bush for every one he took from Clinton, Bush would have been
- President again. Maybe that is what he wanted to do.
