- I don't know if this suggestion has already been made, but I prefer the
- cheap yard gloves from the hardware store (usually around $0.88). They
- are either cotton or some kind of jersey material. They keep my hands
- warm early in a run when I need them and I don't care if I lose them
- later on. My problem is my hands are cold to start, and I can't stand
- the heat after a couple of miles, so they always come off. In a race,
- if I don't want to carry them I can dump them and if I can't find them
- later I'm not out much.
