- James Walker asks in his post of 6 Nov 1992:
-
- JW> Does anyone know if there is a model of the Grumman X-29 jet fighter (this
- JW> is the one with the forward swept wings) preferably in 1/48 scale ?
-
- JW> Does anyone know if the Panavia Tornado jet fighter is made in a 1/48
- JW> scale ? All the ones I have seen are 1/72 scale.
-
- As for quarter scale Tornado's, ESCI/ERTL makes a Tornado IDS, available from
- Battle Hobbies for $13.50. Airfix makes a quarter scale Tornado F3 available
- also from Battle Hobbies for $25.90.
-
- The only X-29 that I know of off hand is the Hasegawa model in 1/72. It is
- very nice and costs $7.40.
-
- I've had good luck ordering from Battle Hobbies, prompt, curteous service.
- Their address is:
