- An excellent general book on designing scale flying models is:
-
- Flying Scale Models, by R. G. Moulton,a MAP Technical Publication,
- by the publishers of Aeromodeller magazine, in England. I bought
- my copy in about 1965, but it may still be available.
- Discusses scaling plans, aerodynamics of models, techniques of
- construction, etc. etc.
-
- There is also a soft-cover 8 1/2 x 11 book available at hobby stores
- that discusses "lofting", the process of developing a design from the
- basic 3-view drawings to detailed plans that include formers and
- structure. I don't remember the name, but it is one of a series of
- radio control books, and consists primarily of model plans with references.
-
- Good luck,
- Fred Franceschi
