- I recently had a request for this list, so I thought I would go ahead
- and publish it. I have not updated it since February. But, if
- you have something you would like added (for the benefit of all),
- let me know.

- Sources of Model Rocket Scale Data - February 1, 1992
- ------------------------------------------------------
-
- This is a list of sources for model rocket scale data. If you
-
- - know of a publication that is a good source, or
- - have scale data you are willing to share with others,
- - know of an aerospace industry source that is available to the
- general public,
-
- contact me and I'll include the source in the list. I'll do my best to
- keep the list up to date and publish it periodically. Please do not send
- me the name of an individual (other than your own) unless you have explicitly
- obtained their permission.

- "American Space Modeling" is the official publication of the National
- Association of Rocketry (NAR). It often includes scale data and
- photographs (e.g. September/October, 1990 includes 6 pages of the
- "Delta Photo Album"). It is typically 48 pages and includes B&W and
- color sections. AMSPAM is published bi-monthly and is included as
- a benefit of joining the NAR. It is available to non-members for $15.00
- per year (U.S. and Canada). Elsewhere add $6.75 for surface postage or
- $33.00 for airmail. Subscriptions are available by contacting:

- "T minus 5" is the bi-monthly newsletter of the Huron Valley Rocket
- Society (HUVARS) NAR Section #463. HUVARS is the NAR section with which
- Peter Alway is associated. In the past it has been rich with scale data
- and plans. Peter Alway has been a big contributor to this and hopefully
- this tradition will continue now that Peter has published his book.
-
- Non-member subscriptions to "T minus 5" are $8.00 (U.S. and Canada) and
- $11.00 elsewhere. Send correspondence to:

- Photos can be ordered from the Index for a very reasonable cost. I have a

- The scale drawings I got from the Smithsonian and were done by Harry Stine.
- They are copyrighted so I need to see if I can make copies. The engineering
- drawings should not present a problem. All of these are on oversized paper
- so making copies presents some difficulties. At the moment I'm mostly
- interested in trading scale data with other folks, but if someone just
- wants a copy of something I have I'll be glad to provide it at whatever
- my cost is.
