- I used to use RC 56 until I discovered ZAP's Zap-A-Dap-Goo.
- Bizarre name, but great stuff. ZADG is clear, much like a super
- thick plastic model cement and it sticks where you put it so be
- careful on drips and runs. You can use very little (I run a small
- bead on the edge of the canopy) glue to hold the canopy down.
-
- The main reason I switched was that RC 56 starts out with the
- consistency of ELMERS glue and takes a long time to setup. This
- means you will need some way of holding the canopy down until
- it dries. ZADG holds upon contact.
-
- Disadvantages to ZADG: It will dissolve RIT Dye.
- It appears to be acetone based so it may
- be incompatible with some plastic.
