- Interesting that #493-10 rated an average of 4.2 with a distribution of
- 027ai - I was one of the two "2's". Maybe it was the Star Trek bit that
- got all the votes. I certainly enjoyed the question which was clever but I
- thought the answer left a little bit to be desired. This was of course
- predicted in the Bible ("There will be false prophets") although many older
- manuscripts omit any mention of the UseNet Oracle for some reason. Anyway,
- although the question was a good one I would probably not have selected it
- for publication had it been sent to me, although I would have sent feedback
- asking for it to be resubmitted. Maybe I'm not as in touch with the
- opinions of the readership as I thought I was <*sob*>....naah, it's all of
- you who are out of touch!
-
- In Dave Sewell's recent analysis TV show parodies rated highly, and
- in fact rated more highly among the Priesthood than the general readership.
- (When and where is this going to be published Dave?) It does make me
- wonder however who is actually doing the voting? Out of the tens of thousands
- of Oracularity readers and contributors, only about 30-40 ever vote. Surely
- the events of recent weeks highlight the importance of voting!!
