- If you think it's siezed, remove all of the plugs, put it in neutral and
- turn it over by hand (OK, use a tool). If there's a center bolt on the
- crank pulley, put a breaker bar and socket on it and turn in the normal
- (CW) direction. Even a fresh engine will turn readily; an older loose one
- can be turned by hand if you have the grip.

- Clean the battery posts and cable ends. Get one of those battery brush
- thingies that does the inside and outside; they're well worth the two bucks.
- Check the starter cable connections down below for corrosion/tightness.
