- Help! My SO is about to do an engine swap on his 1964 Falcon. He wants to
- replace the 170 with a 200 (I believe it's the 1965 Mustang engine...?) So far
- he's been quoted about $1100 for the rebuilt version, 3 yr, 36K warranty.
- His big preference is for a LOCAL Bay Area shop that will use a NEW cam shaft;
- most seem to just regrind an old one, with no guarantees.
-
- Of course, if there's any info on local Ford clubs, etc. who could steer us
- in the right direction, I'm more than happy to try them. So, net-gods, any
- advice or leads?
-
- He wants to do the work over Thanksgiving weekend, so any recommendations
- of good places to go are most appreciated. Any help?? E-mail is fine,
- posting too.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Sandi
