  13.   Okay, folks, here's the situation.....

  15.   Pontiac 1000...no spark....
  16.  
  17.   I did a "known good" replacement test of the ignition module..
  18.   no change....I have BAT voltage at the proper places....the 
  19.   pickup coil reads proper resistace (845 ohm, spec is 500-1000)
  20.   
  21.   The readings through the ignition coil are good...11.7k ohms from
  22.   primary to secondary (on both sides....spec is 6-30k) and .5 ohm
  23.   on primary  (spec is <1 ohm).....
  24.  
  25.    Soooooo.....everything in the "spark" circuit reads good...my
  26.    question is:

  28.    Is it possible for the ignition coil to "read good" on primary/
  29.    secondary resistance test and still be bad???
