- I've replaced heater cores in an '81 Mustang and '76 Pinto. Neither were
- as easy as your '86. As for the stop leak - well, it would have never
- worked on my cores. They were both corroded quite badly. The stop leak
- may have worked for a while, but not long, I suspect. There was a recent
- thread here about using stop leak stuff. The consensus seemed to be if
- you have a leak, fix it right. The stop leak will tend to stop several
- 'leaks' in your cooling system. Can you say plugged passages?
