  29. As far as shocks, I would reccomend that you get OEM, as the suspension
  30. was tuned for them.  I think SAAB gets them from Sachs, so you could check
  31. into them.  You say you don't want firm shocks, so Koni's & Bilsteins are out.

  33. With the brake pads, did you use the anti-squeal compound that they included
  34. with the pads?  I did pads 10,000 miles ago, and they haven't squealed a bit.
  35. (bought the pads about 4 months ago, the compound was changed shortly before
  36. that to give less brake dusting).

  38. SAAB also sells/sold shims which are designed to reduce/eliminate pad
  39. squealing, I know they are available for the 95/96/97 series, I don't know
  40. if the 99/900 and 9000 series have them, or just the blue stuff.
