- When I put silicone brake fluid (DOT-5) in my `67 Austin-Healey 3000
- I replaced the seals and boots (disc front, drum rear) and purged the
- system with compressed air. I then flushed an extra pint or so of
- the silicone fluid through the system while bleeding. No problems
- whatsoever after 10,000 miles and 5 years.
