- | Sounds like regular spin balancing to me. BTW, if they

-
- It wasn't regular spin balancing. This place was going to charge
- $16 (double the cost they charge if you buy tires there) to mount
- and balance each tire, then tack on $6.50 apiece for "ride control
- process".
-
- By weights on the inside of the rim, I assume you mean hidden
- weights.
-
- The place I did have mount these tires (at $11 apiece), only put
- weights on the inside edge of the rim. (Nothing on the outside,
- nothing hidden.) The balancer was set up to measure only one side
- (dashes appeared in the outside edge display). I asked about this,
- and the guy said that the balancer accounts for both sides in
- figuring where the weight should go on the inside.
-
- Did I get a less than perfect balance? (BTW, the tires required
- very little weight.)
