- That's if you press that little button on the shifter. On the few times I
- drive an auto, I have to remember not to press that button except when
- engaging reverse or moving from neutral to park (when stopped of course :-)).

- On column shifts, I believe you have to pull/push to go from neutral to
- reverse and beyond -- at least on the autos I've driven.
