- Hi - I hope someone might be able to help me. I've subsribed to this newsgroup
- for approx. 2 years now and find it informative.
-
- I have an 86' Z-24 (Yes, with the infamous 2.8L :)).
- Recently, for the past 2 weeks, I've been having a problem with the digital
- instrament cluster fading in and out in intensity - (from normal to completely
- gone). I was wondering if anyone else has had simalar problems with digital
- guages.
-
- I have had the board - the entire cluster - out and have checked it for loose or
- dirty connections but found none. Also, when the dash does go out, a slap with
- my hand to anywhere on the dashboard will immeadiately bring the display back
- up- temporarily.
-
- If anone has any ideas - please let me know. I have yet to find anyone with the
- slightest.
-
- Thanks,
-
