  22. I have a similar problem with my 1980 305 V8 Firebird. I changed the PVC
  23. valve which sometimes helps and got a slight improvement but still I get
  24. the burst of oil smoke at start up when the car has beeen sitting over a
  25. couple of hours.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
