  12.  This is how I've rotated tires, learned it from a trucker.
  13. Get your self a tread depth gauge, measure the tread at three points across
  14. the tire (avoid wear bars) and repeat this twice more at +&- 120 degrees 
  15. from this point. write it down, repeat on all other tires (even spare).
  16. I then take the tire that has the most wear and put it on the wheel
  17. that had the least wear or put it up as the spare. If there is uniform
  18. wear between two tires I swap them. I get 75k out of my toyota tires
  19. this way BTW they're 8 ply too.
