- Sure. Most any refrigeration supply company will have one for you.
- If not, try Grangers. About $100 for a line powered unit, about $200
- for the nice little battery powered units.

- Little known secret: Ionization-type smoke detectors are VERY sensitive
- freon detectors. A leak detector can easily be built using an aquarium
- pump, some hose and an ionization detector. simply pump a portion of
- the sample into the ion chamber. Too much flow will also cause an alarm
- so some tuning is necessary. I compared my homemade unit to my GE
- leak detector rated at 1 lb/year or better and found them comparable.
