  17. I have leather in my car and I find that compared to cloth,
  18. leather's main benefits are its relatively more resistance to
  19. spills and stains, more durable, and it smells a lot better than
  20. cloth.  As far as comfort goes, cloth is much better on a hot day
  21. or cold morning/evening.  Leather isn't as bad as vinyl, however
  22. because I find that leather gets more comfortable faster than
  23. vinyl when they're cold or hot.  Vinyl seats are the absolute
  24. pitts and I tend to avoid any car that has them.

  28. This is probably yes, only if the leather is taken care of.  But
  29. then, your mileage may vary.

  34. There are a lot of leather-care products, but I don't know of any
  35. one single brand that's better than most.  Maybe others on the
  36. net will have better recommendations.  I use the Eagle brand--it
  37. works OK, I suppose, but it stinks after it's been wiped off.
  38. After a day or so, the odor goes away.  I don't apply it often
  39. and have done it once since I bought my car last November
  40. (forcast of 2 applications per year--gee, I better clean it again
  41. RSN :-).

  43. Does anyone else have a good recommendation for a good leather
  44. protectant that also smells like leather after application?
